Short version: your images stay on your device. imgloom has no accounts and no upload servers. We show ads and count visits with Google tools, under your cookie choice.
Your images
imgloom processes images entirely in your browser. Files you open in a tool are read into your device’s memory, edited there, and saved back to your device. They are never uploaded to imgloom or to anyone else, and we have no way to see them.
What is stored on your device
We use your browser’s local storage for a few preferences: your language choice, light/dark theme, cookie-consent choice and recent tool settings. A service worker caches the app’s code (and, after first use, codec and AI model files) so tools load quickly and work offline. You can clear all of this at any time from your browser settings.
Advertising and analytics
imgloom is funded by ads served by Google AdSense and measures aggregate usage with Google Analytics 4. Both run in Google Consent Mode: until you accept in the cookie banner, ad and analytics storage is denied and ads are non-personalized. If you accept, Google may set cookies to measure visits and personalize ads. Google’s use of data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Analytics events describe how tools are used (for example, which tool was opened or that a conversion finished) and never include your images, file contents or file names.
Third-party downloads
Some tools fetch code or models on demand: the background remover downloads its AI model from a content delivery network the first time you use it. Like any web request, these servers see your IP address and browser type, but never your images.
Children
imgloom is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
